Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job description:

An Olathe-based manufacturer is seeking a reliable and motivated person to support machine operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting with machine setup, material handling, quality checks, final assembly, packaging and maintaining a clean and safe production area.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist machine operators with machine setup, operation, and changeovers

· Set up and adjust machine to finish product to specification

· Perform quality inspections on finished product

· Package, label, and stage finished goods for shipment

· Monitor equipment and report any mechanical issues or irregularities

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

· Assist with inventory cycle counting

Qualifications

· Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with other crew members

· Ability to read tape measure and calipers

· Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods

· Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs

· Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions

· Ability to work in manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment

Compensation and schedule

· Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience)

· Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, M-F (40 hours per week)

· Occasional Overtime
