We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.As a Vendor Operations Specialist, you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by partnering with Pacific Life's Strategic Sourcing Vendors to ensure business objectives and service commitments are met. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 4 people in the Consumer Markets division. Your colleagues will include other Vendor Operations professionals.How you’ll help move us forward:Daily oversight of our 3rd party vendors supporting CMD OperationsActs as point of contact for vendor and business stakeholders, working independently to address questions and resolve issuesPartners with Operations stakeholders and Enterprise Vendor Management to ensure vendor is meeting contractual obligations and supporting the business.Identifies, tracks, and shares observations and areas of opportunity with leader and business stakeholders.Effectively communicate and provide feedback to vendors related to issues, trends, achievements, etc.The experience you bring:Familiarity with operational business outsourcing modelsStrong understanding of Life Insurance and Annuity Operations workflowsAbility to work autonomously with minimal directionStrong communication skills dealing with a variety of peopleAbility to complete assignments in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under tight timelines with keen attention to detailWhat makes you stand out:4-year degree or equivalent experienceProficient in Microsoft Office with moderate aptitude with Microsoft ExcelYou can be who you are.People come first here.
