Tax Manager – ATAX Omaha
Location: Bellevue, NE (work performed at our Omaha office)
Pay: $90,000 – $115,000 per year (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week); flexible, with some weekends during tax season
About the Role
ATAX Omaha is seeking an experienced Tax Manager . We are sourcing candidates in Bellevue, NE. Based in our Omaha office, you will help lead operations, ensuring high-quality, compliant tax preparation in a fast-paced environment.
This position offers long-term growth potential and may include future leadership or ownership opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and oversee individual and business tax returns
- Support daily office operations and workflow management
- Mentor and assist tax preparers and support staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Serve as a point of contact for complex client questions or issues
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain accuracy under deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience in tax preparation, accounting, or financial services
- Prior leadership or senior preparer experience preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with tax preparation software (Drake Tax experience a plus)
