About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in community or acute care setting. License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to safely manage high-acuity and fast-paced emergency care. Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and prioritization skills. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Strong situational awareness and ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions. Professional, reliable, and punctual attendance. Willingness to work assigned shifts and support departmental staffing needs. Description: Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in community or acute care setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required. Demonstrated ability to safely manage high-acuity and fast-paced emergency care. Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and prioritization skills are essential. Ability to function independently with minimal orientation is expected. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation is necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams are required. Rapid adaptation to policies, workflows, and standards of care is important. Consistent adherence to patient safety and documentation standards is crucial. Strong situational awareness and the ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions are necessary. Professional, reliable, and punctual attendance is expected. Willingness to work assigned shifts and support departmental staffing needs is required.
