Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Birth

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Labor and Birth for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting that supports a high volume of deliveries.

Position Information

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Labor and Birth
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: Nights, 3x12, 1900-0700
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As required by the facility
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: May be required to float to postpartum

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Experience and Skills

Minimum of 2 years of labor experience in a hospital performing 350-400 deliveries per month.
Preferred certifications include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, and 4 pre/postpartum beds
Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 2:1, based on estimates
Equipment: External fetal monitoring devices
EMR System: EPIC

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Black
Unacceptable Attire: N/A
