This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for passionate Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Pathology Assistants committed to making a difference in K-12 settings. Serving a diverse range of students, you will collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to help each child reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or an associate’s/bachelor’s in a related field (for SLPAs)
• Relevant state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Vermont
• ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) welcomed; those completing CFY are encouraged to apply
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfort working across the K-12 age range and caseloads
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is a plus, but this is an on-campus role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals
• Collaborate with special education teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies throughout the school day
• Maintain thorough records, complete documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide support, training, and resources to families and classroom teachers
• Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student
