Model Technician

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized individual for the position of Model Technician to join our company.

*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

• Read and follow directions on prescription. Be able to understand a doctors' preferences
• Follow in-process laboratory Quality Assurance standards
• Pour, trim, section, and articulate stone models from patients' impressions
• Operate and maintain a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment such as: trimmers, lathes, saw, articulators, and cleaning devices
• Maintain dental tools and equipment with cleanliness and care
• Follow daily schedule and production goals
• Other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

• Dental knowledge a plus
• Previous experience in a relevant field or dental environment preferred
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Ability to stand for extended hours and lift weight up to 20lbs
• Good communication skills
• Advanced die trimming experience is a plus
• Milling center environment, computer-based workstation. Benchwork with high speed and low-speed handpieces
• High School Diploma or equivalent
