URGENT HIRING NEED — IMMEDIATE START

Location: Carson City, NV Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pay Rate: $30–$40/hour Contract Duration: 3 months Position Overview Brooksource is urgently seeking an IT Analyst on behalf of Chromalloy for an immediate-start, 3-month contract opportunity at its Carson City manufacturing facility. This is a time-sensitive opening, and we are looking for an experienced IT professional who can hit the ground running and provide immediate onsite technical support. The IT Analyst will serve as the primary onsite IT resource, supporting employees across both office spaces and an active manufacturing floor. This role goes beyond traditional help desk support, combining hands-on desktop and laptop troubleshooting with onsite infrastructure support, project coordination, and collaboration with specialized IT teams. The ideal candidate is technically strong, adaptable, resourceful, and customer-focused. They must be comfortable working independently, taking ownership of technical challenges, and partnering with a broader IT organization to resolve issues and keep business operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on technical support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and Windows operating systems, primarily Windows 11. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and workstation issues across office and manufacturing environments. Respond to end-user requests and deliver excellent customer service to employees with varying levels of technical knowledge. Serve as the primary onsite IT contact, taking ownership of issues from initial troubleshooting through resolution and follow-up. Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. Assist with onsite infrastructure projects, including wireless access point replacements, network connectivity improvements, and workstation deployments. Support network planning and infrastructure improvements for additional workstations on the manufacturing floor. Coordinate with maintenance personnel and other departments to complete technical work. Adapt to a variety of technical environments, including legacy equipment and systems. Maintain clear documentation, communicate project updates, and keep stakeholders informed. Provide occasional off-hours support for critical IT issues that may impact production. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on IT support, desktop support, or related technical experience. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and end-user computing environments. Experience providing direct technical support to end users. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requests, and manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through. Ability to collaborate with technical specialists, business stakeholders, and employees across different departments. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) due to site requirements. Ability to work onsite in Carson City, NV, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional critical off-hours support. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment. Familiarity with network infrastructure, wireless access points, switches, VPN connectivity, or related networking equipment. Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterprise IT environments. Exposure to virtualization platforms or infrastructure support. Immediate start: The hiring team is looking to fill this position as quickly as possible. Compensation: $30–$40 per hour. Work arrangement: Onsite in Carson City, NV, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
