Respiratory Therapist (RRT)We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide care in a fast-paced environment, working with adult and geriatric patient populations. This position is vital for ensuring high-quality respiratory care and support to patients.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform adult critical care procedures including extubation, nasal airway placements, and suctioning.Administer respiratory medications via aerosol setups and nebulizers.Conduct pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care.Utilize high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy.Troubleshoot high pressure alarms and participate in weaning from mechanical ventilation.Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care.Document patient care and treatments accurately using EPIC.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.Active Respiratory Care Therapist (RRT) license is required.Certifications: ACLS and BLS.Experience in Trauma Level 1 settings.Proficient in using CPAP and BiPAP devices.Experience with floating to various units as needed.Schedule RequirementsNight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.Weekend requirement: Every other weekend; may change as needed.All requests for time off, block scheduling, and special scheduling must be included with the submission and will only be accommodated if approved at the time of booking.
