Job Description

This role focuses on assembling components for commercial water treatment projects, with a particular emphasis on structural plates for water filtration units. You will work in a clean, light industrial production environment and use hand tools, power tools, and welding skills to build high-quality assemblies according to schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structural plates and components for water filtration units according to engineering schematics and blueprints.

• Interpret and follow detailed assembly drawings, schematics, and blueprint instructions to ensure accurate builds.

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform cutting, fitting, fastening, and finishing tasks.

• Perform MIG welding on structural components as needed to complete assemblies for water treatment systems.

• Inspect parts and assemblies during and after production to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.

• Work as part of a production team to meet daily and weekly output goals in a light industrial environment.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following facility standards for cleanliness and safety.

• Follow all safety procedures when using tools, equipment, and materials, including proper handling of welding equipment.

• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members about progress, issues, or material needs during assembly.

• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve assembly processes or efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Walker, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
