DELI TEAM LEAD HIGHLIGHTS Pay & Benefits Competitive pay of $16.00/hour Paid time off (PTO) Free shift meals Growth and advancement opportunities What You'll Be Doing You'll be in charge of our daily deli operations and will play an important part in our day‑to‑day efficiency and customer satisfaction! We're known for providing fresh products and amazing customer service, and you'll help uphold our incredible reputation. You'll manage our deli products and prepackaged display food, accurately preparing, wrapping, weighing, and pricing products throughout the day. With a polite and professional attitude, you'll answer customers' questions, accurately complete their orders, and hand out free samples to help grow sales. You'll manage your team as they do the same, making sure they follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. This role involves properly operating various equipment, including POS (point‑of‑sale) systems, cutting tools, scales, small grills and ovens, and more. You'll rotate products to ensure freshness, ensure accurate orders to prevent food waste, and help with general cleaning. As a team lead, you'll also be responsible for training staff, promptly addressing issues, and sending team members home if we're overstaffed for the day. You'll cash out customers, prepare products for party trays and special orders, and jump in wherever you're needed to help make every day a great one! WHAT YOU BRING Ability to frequently lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 60 lbs. Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform simple math calculations Solid problem‑solving skills Schedule flexibility for working evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Preferred Deli Team Lead Qualifications ServSafe certification High school degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Team spirit and strong collaboration/interpersonal skills ABOUT US Over the years we have expanded to a bakery, full‑service restaurant, bar, and retail liquor store.
