This role provides accurate and timely data to internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal treatment performance and customer success.**Qualifications & Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.* Ability to follow procedures and maintain documentation standards.* Basic understanding of chemical handling and laboratory safety.* Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Preferred: * Experience with hydraulic fluids or oilfield chemistry.* Experience with ICP-OES, Spectrophotometers, ORP/pH/DO/turbidity meters, particle size analysis/sand sieves, conductivity/TDS meters, IC, auto-titrators, rheometers/viscometers, and friction flow loops.* Understanding of produced water chemistry, treatment challenges, microbiology, geology, and polymer chemistry.* Experience working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.**Indicators & Attributes for Success:*** Attention to detail* Ability to stay on task and follow through* Safety conscious* Customer/Client focus* Positive attitude* Prioritization & organizational skills* Accountability* Ethical practice* Strong team-player**Primary Responsibilities:*** Prepare and test fracturing fluids, additives, and water samples under standard and simulated field conditions.* Perform laboratory testing, including (but not limited to): Rheology and viscosity measurements, Friction reduction testing (flow loop), and Water chemistry analysis (TDS, hardness, iron, alkalinity, etc.)* Accurately document, review, and report test results in a timely manner.* Maintain lab equipment, including calibration, cleaning, and troubleshooting.* Follow established SOPs, QA/QC procedures, and safety protocols.* Support rapid-response troubleshooting for field and customer issues.* Assist in the development and validation of new fluid systems and chemical applications.* Maintain organization, cleanliness, and readiness of lab workspace.* Manage sample intake, labeling, and chain of custody.* Communicate effectively with lab leadership, operations, and technical sales teams.* Other Duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position.
