Line Cook Fine Dining Restaurant

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and professional Line Cook to join our fine dining Italian restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for authentic Italian cuisine, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and restaurant standards.
Execute Italian dishes including pasta, seafood, meat, sauces, and specialty menu items.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to fine dining standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
Assist with food preparation, portioning, and inventory management.
Monitor product quality and freshness.
Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Maintain proper storage and labeling of food products.
Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Must follow all restaurant grooming and food safety requirements, including maintaining a clean and neat appearance. Candidates with facial hair must be clean-shaven or willing to wear a beard net while working in food preparation areas to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining excellent personal hygiene standards.
