Make a Difference A Physical Therapist will be responsible for interpreting results of initial evaluation, determining appropriate patient goals, and developing treatment plan. The PT will modify the treatment plan as needed and utilize appropriate treatment techniques. Physical therapists will also be responsible for participating in teaching opportunities or clinical education of students as well as inter-disciplinary program planning. Most importantly, the PT must establish and maintain a safe environment conducive to effective team functioning, positive patient outcomes and personal safety. Scope of Practice Physical therapist willing to treat a split caseload of pediatrics and adult orthopedics. Pediatric caseload will consist of patients birth to 18 with various developmental, neurological, congenital, and orthopedic conditions. Adult caseload will consist of general orthopedics and post‑op patients. Interest or experience in aquatic therapy is a plus, but not required. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required. Must have a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit. Experienced Pediatric and Adult Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist. Must be knowledgeable in anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy, theoretical concepts and techniques, current materials and technological advances, and new professional trends. Effectively provide quality service to impaired individuals and communicate effectively with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and all internal/external customers. Possess an understanding of the behaviors, developmental needs, physical needs, emotional needs, and comfort of child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
