Job Summary:
Mammographer in a teaching and research facility. This position involves performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, assisting radiologists with biopsies, and ensuring quality assurance on digital mammography equipment. The role also includes patient education, document handling, and equipment operation, all in compliance with regulatory mandates.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: License or certification in Mammography (CRT and MAM), Basic Life Support (BLS); 1 year of experience; location requirements as applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ultrasound diagnostic procedures, image processing, and safety principles related to ultrasound and mammography equipment.
• Additional Information: Assists patients with questionnaires and education, handles paperwork, operates mammographic and related imaging equipment, develops images, and performs quality control functions.
