CareCore at Mary Scott is seeking a dependable and motivated Dietary Cook to join our team! If you enjoy preparing great meals, take pride in your work, and want to make a difference in the lives of seniors, we'd love to hear from you. Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Every other weekend and holiday rotation required What You'll Do: Prepare and cook nutritious, appetizing meals according to planned menus and therapeutic diet guidelines. Ensure food is prepared safely while following all sanitation and food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, workstations, and equipment. Monitor food quality and temperatures throughout preparation and service. Work closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen team to provide an excellent dining experience for our residents. What We're Looking For: Previous cooking experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus. Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency. Dependable, organized, and a strong team player. Excellent customer service and communication skills with residents, families, and coworkers.
