SFCC Backend Developer

Salary: $66,500 - 94,500 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 3 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience, including expertise with SFCC PWA and SFRA.
• We require U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status and residence in the United States.
• We require availability to work on Eastern Time and on a W-2 basis.
• We seek proficiency in Progressive Web App development, including PWA Kit integration and optimization.
• We seek software development experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, eCommerce feeds, and integrations; Commerce Cloud certification is preferred.
• We value experience with SiteGenesis and/or SFRA, including platform features such as catalogs, content assets, slots, search, ordering, marketing, and analytics.
• We seek experience integrating and customizing third-party cartridges and developing new cartridges.
• We value knowledge of SFCC caching and cache management, performance monitoring, and improvement strategies.
• We seek a strong understanding of Business Manager, its features, and customizations.
• We require knowledge of ISML, JavaScript controllers, pipelines, OCAPI, Business Manager configurations, project and release management, and version control tools.
• We seek front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SASS, and jQuery.
• Retail or eCommerce industry experience is a plus.
• We accept a bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• We manage compliance with platform requirements and make updates as needed.
• We collaborate with external development agencies and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and support end-to-end eCommerce capabilities in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• We work hands-on in development and make architectural decisions.
• We set up, maintain, and troubleshoot website integration feeds, including products, inventory, price books, OMS, Google, and product reviews.
• We monitor and report on website performance, including downtime and speed, and recommend and implement improvements.
• We stay current with development innovations on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
• We manage site domains and code repositories.
• We identify project risks and take steps to mitigate them.
• We proactively find ways to improve and optimize processes and interfaces on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
• We develop and mentor junior engineers, sharing our knowledge and experience.

We are seeking an SFCC Backend Developer to build new features and maintain and enhance existing implementations across our eCommerce websites. In this role, we work with internal and external teams to improve infrastructure efficiency and optimization. This opportunity is limited to direct W-2 candidates; we are not considering third parties.
