Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Woodland Hills CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support access control activities. This role is ideal for a professional who values customer service clear communication and teamwork while bringing a reliable caring and integrity-driven approach to every shift.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas entry points parking areas and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity communicating with residents and/or property staff and following post orders.
• Support a professional residential environment by documenting daily activities assisting with routine inquiries and communicating important security-related information to supervisors and/or property management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
