We are currently looking for a Land Surveyor to join our team for a construction project in Durham, North Carolina.

• Estimated duration of the position: 2 years- In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.

-Responsibilities: Conduct detailed land and construction surveys to support the planning, design, and execution of highway improvements. Establish and maintain accurate control points and benchmarks using GPS, total stations, and other modern surveying equipment. Perform layout and staking for the addition of new lanes, bridge replacements, and other structures. Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure alignment with design specifications and tolerances. Collaborate closely with engineers, construction managers, and contractors to resolve discrepancies and ensure quality. Prepare clear and precise survey documentation, reports, and maps for project records and compliance. -Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in highway/road/ heavy civil construction projects or similar, working directly with the construction company. -Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly- There may be longer working hours and some weekends depending on project demands -Benefits: Working for an international company currently expanding. 22 paid vacation days+ 5 working days of sick leave (100% salary).
