RN – Director of Nursing (DON) / MDS Nurse – Travel Contract Facility: Tobacco Root Mountains Care Center (TRMCC) Location: Sheridan, MT Address: 326 Madison Street, Sheridan, MT 59749 Start Date: August 13, 2026 Duration: 24 Weeks Shift: Variable Days Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts, 40 Hours/Week Pay Rate: $57/hour Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280/week Housing: Housing Provided Job Summary Tobacco Root Mountains Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Director of Nursing (DON) / MDS Nurse in its skilled nursing facility. The facility is prioritizing candidates with Director of Nursing experience combined with MDS experience . The RN will oversee nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate resident care, manage MDS assessments, and lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality long-term care. Requirements Director of Nursing (DON) experience strongly preferred MDS (Minimum Data Set) experience required/preferred Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility experience required Leadership and staff management experience Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care compliance Resume must clearly demonstrate all relevant nursing and leadership experience Required Credentials Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Current BLS Certification Long-Term Care experience MDS Coordinator experience preferred Director of Nursing leadership experience strongly preferred Facility Details 38-bed Skilled Nursing Facility Current census: 13 residents Housing provided 40 hours per week Reach out to Recruiter Joseph – Fast-track submission available for qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
