About the Career The Patient Access Representative is responsible for identifying and obtaining the necessary clinical information to obtain precertification's and authorizations in the more complex departments such as same day surgery, surgery, infusions, and inpatients. All About You High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred. CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) preferred. Knowledge of: Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payer requirements, guidelines and policies preferred.
