Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Attendant in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will create a welcoming presence by greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring security-related activity, and communicating professionally with tenants, guests, and staff. You will help support a secure environment through attentive service and clear reporting while representing Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, agile, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor-management systems, alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related equipment, reporting unusual activity or system concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and security-related activities while supporting a welcoming lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
