Job Family:IT Cyber SecurityTravel Required:NoneClearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:Leads cybersecurity strategy and implementation, including risk management framework processes, control implementation, and documentation.Embeds security practices across systems and workflows, providing guidance on secure design, data protection, and access controls.Ensures compliance with federal security standards and facilitates audits, assessments, and remediation activities.Oversees incident response planning, investigation, and resolution, and promotes organization-wide security awareness.Advises leadership on risk posture and mitigation strategies, balancing security requirements with operational needs.What You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related fieldEight 8 years securing federal systemsExpertise in federal security frameworks (e.g., NIST), vulnerability management, and system securityStrong risk assessment and communication skills.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferredWhat Would Be Nice To Have:Master’s degreeIndustry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM); experience in data-intensive or research-focused environments.Prior NIH experienceThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
