The Pleasant Hope R-VI School District is currently accepting applications for future part-time Lunch Cashier positions. Pleasant Hope offers a 4-day school week (Tuesday-Friday). A satisfactory background check is required.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school graduate, preferred
• Experience: Appropriate experience for position

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to: Building principals

Terms of Employment: School term, salaried

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Position Summary:

Collecting and depositing lunch money and scanning student/faculty lunch cards at lunch.

Position Responsibilities:

• Answers phone calls and questions having to do with lunch program and student account balances.
• Takes and records lunch money.
• Takes lunch tickets through lunch lines. Handwritten if the internet is down. Putting all information in when the internet is back up.
• Help head cook with production records.
• Make deposits once or twice a week.
• Keep a deposit book, and report deposit amounts to the bookkeeper.
• Make sure lunch money balances each week.
• Should be in sufficient health to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by administrator.
• Send emails or letters to parents for money due for children's milk or lunches.
• Offer to help the cooks anytime I can.
