Maintenance Technician (DIRECT HIRE) - 2nd & Weekend Shift - $62K-$66K

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a direct hire opportunity with full benefits.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (DIRECT HIRE)
Location: Byesville, OH
Pay Range: $30-$32
Shift: 2nd (230pm-11pm M-F) & Weekend Shift (7am-7pm Fri-Sun, paid for 40 hours)

What's the Job?

• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and rebuilds on process equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, valves, and motors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities as scheduled, adhering to manufacturer and company specifications.
• Log all work performed, including repairs and installations, using the CMMS program to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training programs to promote a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

• Working knowledge of electrical 3-phase systems, PLCs, and controls.
• Extensive experience repairing and replacing pumps, motors, filters, and pipes.
• Proficiency in welding, cutting, grinding, and operating powered shop tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
• Availability for emergency call-ins on a rotating basis to support plant operations.
