Assist the Controller with most aspects of the accounting department Manage day-to-day functions, closing tasks, and audits Manage the closing process, projects, year-end, and filings requirements Review work completed by the team for accuracy and adherence to agreements Ensure the Controller is informed of important changes Manage and develop growth, productivity, efficiency, and happiness of employees Maintain good working relationships with teams outside of the Accounting department Requirements BS in Accounting 8 years of accounting experience CPA preferred Advanced Excel skills required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products Experience in real estate, preferably rental properties Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills Proficiency with Yardi preferred Evening/night/weekend work required from time to time Certifications & Qualifications BS in Accounting CPA #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
