Licensed Insurance Assistant

Stonefield Insurance Brokers is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Assistant to support our growing commercial and personal lines insurance operations.

This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys helping clients, managing policy service requests, coordinating with insurance carriers, and supporting producers throughout the sales and renewal process. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an exceptional client experience while helping the agency operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle client service requests by phone, email, and text
• Process policy changes and endorsements
• Assist with renewals and remarketing activities
• Obtain quotes from insurance carriers and wholesalers
• Prepare proposals and client documentation
• Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of coverage
• Review policy documents for accuracy
• Assist producers with new business submissions and applications
• Return inbound calls and voicemail requests promptly
• Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems
• Track outstanding underwriting requirements and follow through with clients and carriers
• Assist with billing inquiries and policy servicing needs
• Support both personal and commercial insurance accounts

Qualifications

• Active California Property & Casualty License preferred
• Insurance agency experience preferred
• Commercial insurance experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable learning and using technology, CRM systems, and agency software
• Professional, positive, and client-focused attitude

• Independent insurance agency experience
• EZLYNX experience
• Commercial lines servicing experience
• Personal lines servicing experience
• Certificate processing and policy review experience
• Working directly with insurance carriers and underwriters
