Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Ambulatory Behavioral Health

Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Ambulatory Behavioral Health to join the outpatient Clinical Pharmacy team. This role will be full‑time Monday – Friday, day shift. Sign‑on Bonus & relocation assistance eligible. Responsibilities Integrated into the Outpatient Behavioral Health team and oversee patients referred for psychiatric medication management, including antidepressants, mood stabilizers such as lithium and valproate, antipsychotics (including long‑acting injectables and clozapine), and intranasal ketamine. Participate in medication formulary review and approval process. Provide education by lecturing and precepting students and PGY‑1/PGY‑2 residents. Serve on local, system, and national level committees. Preferred Qualifications PGY2 in Psychiatry or Ambulatory Care with BCPP eligibility or active certification. Education Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy. Experience Five (5) years as a clinical Pharmacist. Licensure Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA. Certification Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire. #J-18808-Ljbffr American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP)
