Physician Assistant - Surgery

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant – Surgery to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health . The position is based on the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, a redesigned health care campus within the community. Opportunity Details Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting including patient examination, recommendations for and/or interpretation of appropriate routine diagnostic tests. Inform the supervising physician of all changes in the patient's condition and pertinent diagnostic results. Surgical assist in the Operating Room with a surgical robot – perform inpatient rounds, collect data and write pertinent progress notes on charts. Counsel patients regarding physical and mental health.
