Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Front Desk in Naugatuck, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.08 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue01:00 AM - 07:00 AMWed01:00 AM - 07:00 AMFri01:00 AM - 07:00 AMSat01:00 AM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Monitor access to the location, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site requirements. Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and coordinate with appropriate site contacts for visitor arrivals and deliveries. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control/badge experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
