Lab Assistant - Core Lab
$17.75 - $18.5 per hourLabCorp
Lab Assistant position in Dublin, Ohio supporting specimen processing and laboratory operations. Responsibilities include receiving, preparing, and scanning clinical specimens, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing
- Perform data entry and scanning of specimen and patient information
- Monitor laboratory equipment functionality and conduct routine maintenance
- Maintain clean and safe work environment; replenish supplies
- Complete administrative records and troubleshoot specimen-related issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate identification skills
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry proficiency
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Preferred: 3+ months specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience
Compensation: $17.75 - $18.50 per hour
