Locums Internal Medicine Physician in Berwyn, Illinois - No Call

Provide outpatient primary care for a Medicare-focused patient population with a weekday schedule and no call. This assignment offers a structured clinic environment with dedicated clinical support and an efficient path to getting started.

Highlights

• No call responsibilities
• Fast credentialing
• Monday through Friday outpatient schedule
• Medical Assistant scribe support with clinic Registered Nurse support

Practice & Cases

• Outpatient preventive care and traditional primary care
• Medicare-focused patient panel, primarily adults age 65 and older
• Manage diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and mild cognitive impairment
• Average of 16 to 18 patients per day

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Weekday-only coverage
• No procedures required

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Illinois license required
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• DEA required

Logistics

• Mileage reimbursement provided
• Lodging, airfare, and rental car are not provided
