Post Award Accountant

A client of Insight Global is looking for a post award accountant to work under their academic department. This accountant will focus mainly on building invoices to send to sponsors but will also assist in federal reporting, reviewing expenses as they get posted to the grant, assist in answering emails based on dedicated specialty, work heavily with excel, and other ad hoc work. This position is fully remote but must sit in AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 5 years of experience within post award (finance/accounting)
• Experience working in central post award
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel- pivot tables, vlookups, Macros, etc


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working with a hospital system
