Test Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the assembly, testing, and performance optimization of sophisticated medical instruments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $28

Shift: Days (07:00-15:30)

What's the Job?

• Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization.
• Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues in test equipment.
• Analyze test results and data to determine pass/fail status and provide solutions for failures.
• Identify defects and recommend design and process improvements to enhance instrument performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, quality, planning, and purchasing teams to ensure compliance and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• AA degree in mechatronics or a relevant field with 0 years of experience, or 5 years of troubleshooting experience in electronics, mechanics, or software.
• Proven ability to support testing of moderately complex instruments and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reading technical diagrams and measurements.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and safety procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
