Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Telemetry competency - Progressive Care experience Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a progressive care unit. The position involves providing quality care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs. The unit typically has a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6, depending on the level of care. Patients on this unit include both medical-surgical and step-down patients, allowing for a diverse range of experiences. Telemetry monitoring is available, with all patients hardwired to bedside monitors if indicated. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Candidates must have a positive attitude and a patient experience-focused approach. Compassion and the ability to work as a team player are essential qualities for this role. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Every other weekend availability is required, but there is no call required for this position.
