Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. In this unit, RNs will work with orthopedic and medical-surgical patients undergoing various treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including monitoring, medication administration, and patient education.
• Perform required charge RN duties when needed.
• Participate in high-volume patient care including post-operative management for surgical patients.
• Administer telemetry monitoring for patients as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Support patients in the physical therapy gym located within the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory.
• Charge RN experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• All RNs are required to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
