Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist Location: New York, NY Schedule: Full-Time | 10-Month Academic Year | 8:15 AM–3:30 PM Employment Status: Perm Salary - 72K to 100K Annually Position Summary: Adecco Healthcare & LifeSciences is curently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in a collaborative school environment. The OT will assess student needs, develop individualized therapy plans, provide appropriate interventions, monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Conduct formal and informal assessments to determine student needs. Provide individualized occupational therapy services and interventions. Develop therapy plans and progress reports in collaboration with school staff. Maintain accurate student records, attendance, service logs, and documentation. Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student progress. Participate in team meetings, CSE meetings, workshops, and professional development. Ensure required make-up sessions are completed. Follow assigned schedules and maintain a professional, collaborative working environment. Qualifications: Valid and current New York State Occupational Therapy License and/or Certification . Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a school-based environment. Ability to walk, run, sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift as required to safely support students. Professional Development: Participation in required staff training, professional development activities, and annual staff orientation is expected.
