Project Coordinator

Overview VCI Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator. You will report to the division Project Manager, work closely with supervisors and field employees. The ability to multi-task is essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. What You’ll Do Ability to read telecom system prints or prior experience reading engineering drawings. Manage subcontractors for electrical work. Report production, status of jobs, and billing information. Construction Work Face Planning experience preferred. Project Controls 1–3 years of experience on construction projects is ideal. Detail-oriented and able to perform quality assurance audits on reporting. Good verbal and written communication skills are a MUST. Must be able to work independently to complete deliverables daily. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel); ability to navigate large data sets to support contractual reporting requirements quickly through pivot tables, sumifs, v-lookups, etc. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Permit experience required Possess valid driver’s license At least 1–3 years of relevant experience Must be able to pass background and drug screens Good organization, multi-tasking, time management, and documentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience/knowledge of State, Highway Department & Municipal requirements for Tele-Communications construction permitting processes Working knowledge of traffic control permitting requirements Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.); demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Professional and Microsoft Project Some knowledge of as-builts Demonstrates a strong capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones Additional Qualifications (if Applicable) Construction experience preferred but not required Permit experience required Why grow your career with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
