Senior Accountant
Everett, WA | Manufacturing / Aerospace
Role OverviewThe Senior Accountant supports financial reporting, inventory accounting, and operational finance activities within a manufacturing environment.
This role works cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and support ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Assist with inventory accounting and cost tracking
- Perform variance analysis related to manufacturing operations
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Partner with operations to understand production and cost drivers
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–6+ years of experience (public + industry preferred)
- Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP
- ERP system experience
- CPA or CPA track preferred
- Complex manufacturing: composites, molding, machining, assembly
- Aerospace customers = tight deadlines + compliance pressure
