Echo Technologist

Perform routine and emergency ultrasound imaging and other sonographic procedures with minimal supervision Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist Provide excellent patient care and maintain rapport and service quality with client hospitals and staff Use PACS systems and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data Exercise independent judgment during procedures Requirements Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and related responsibilities required ARDMS/RDCS certification required CCI/RCS certification in Echo Professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision Up-to-date vaccinations as required for hospital employment Ability to pass required health screenings, including drug screening and background check Current BLS/CPR Capable of lifting 50–100 lbs, including patients, positioning aids, portable ultrasound machines, and assisting with minor patient movements Physical flexibility to bend, reach, twist, and adjust equipment or patients Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods and complete multiple consecutive scans Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and ultrasound imaging with minimal supervision, while effectively communicating findings and providing excellent patient care.
