Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

Maintenance TechnicianWe're hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a short-term temporary role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working hands-on, and keeping production running smoothly. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and packaging equipment to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systemsWork with motors, pumps, HMIs, PLCs, and control systemsPerform preventative maintenance and equipment upgradesSupport production with setups, adjustments, and changeoversMaintain accurate maintenance records and communicate issuesAssist with equipment rebuilds and improvement projectsTrain operators on equipment use as neededFollow all safety, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulationsMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environmentQualifications:High school diploma or vocational training requiredMinimum 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experienceFood manufacturing experience preferredStrong ability to read schematics, manuals, and diagramsSolid troubleshooting and decision-making skillsExperience working with electrical systems up to 480VPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently (100 lbs occasionally)Frequent bending, climbing, reaching, and standingComfortable working at heights (up to 50 ft with PPE)Able to work in varying temperatures and environmentsAbility to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting
