Position Overview

A growing and well-established insurance agency is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Lines Quoting Assistant to support its Commercial Lines team. This role is ideal for someone with insurance experience who enjoys working behind the scenes, managing quotes, coordinating with carriers, and helping producers deliver exceptional service to clients.

The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process commercial insurance quotes with multiple carriers
• Gather and review client information to ensure accurate submissions
• Follow up with insurance carriers regarding quotes, renewals, and policy updates
• Compare coverage options, pricing, and terms from various markets
• Assist producers and account managers with new business and renewal opportunities
• Maintain accurate client and policy information within agency management systems
• Prepare proposals and supporting documentation for clients
• Monitor outstanding quotes and follow up on pending submissions
• Communicate professionally with carriers, clients, and internal team members
• Support the Commercial Lines department with administrative and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Prior insurance agency experience preferred
• Commercial Lines experience preferred
• Experience with quoting, submissions, renewals, or account support is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Property & Casualty License preferred but not required
