Job Title: Plans, Assessments, and Strategy Functional Group Lead Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local The Opportunity CACI is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced leader to lead a geographically dispersed team of strategic engagement planners and liaison officers. Additionally, the leader will serve as an individual contributor. You will oversee all Functional Group business processes such as contract deliverables, Financial and Travel reports, Subcontractor coordination, and deployments. You will supervise the day-to-day business operations and provide operational oversight and direction for the Team. You will also develop effective working relationships with the Gov customer by taking a programmatic approach to their opportunities/issues/concerns to identify and resolve req'ts/concerns to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and long-term success. You will develop and refine internal and contractual performance measures associated with the Team. You will serve as a key leader within the 200-person Task Order. You will serve as a Business Development Lead for the Functional Group and related opportunities. Responsibilities Provide leader and managerial oversight of 8 geographically dispersed Assistant Liaison Officers (ALNOs), 4 Strategic Engagement Advisors, and 1 Strategic Planner. Manage and improve the relationship and communication with Assistant Contract Officers Representative (ACOR). Collaborate regularly with the Program Manager (PM) and Program Management Office (PMO) ensuring personnel, operations, finance, and logistics priorities are captured accurately. Conduct CWMD mission analysis and provide course of action recommendations to senior DTRA leadership. Review and edit strategic documents and provide technical writing improvements. Schedule and execute critical DTRA battle rhythm events (OPSYNCHs, Forward Formations, etc.) Capture meeting minutes and track completion of assigned and delegated tasks. Develop talking points and briefing materials for DTRA senior leadership. Lead Functional Group planning, scheduling, and performance tracking to ensure all deliverables are met on time and within budget. Review manning and responsibilities within the Functional Group to ensure maximize performance and efficiency. Implement changes where appropriate. Demonstrate foresight in analyzing complex situations, identifying potential challenges early on, and independently developing innovative, effective solutions. Employ critical thinking to resolve problems swiftly, ensuring smooth project progression. Establish and maintain high-quality standards throughout the Functional Group. Regularly monitor and evaluate Functional Group deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards, taking corrective action when needed. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential risks at early stages. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to mitigate risks. Lead Business Development actions for the Functional Group and related opportunities. Qualifications Required TS/SCI level Security Clearance. 5 years’ experience in a DoD agency. Ability to lead and manage geographically dispersed Teams. Abilities utilizing the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Joint Planning and Execution System (JPES), and/or like planning and decision-making processes. Ability to use critical thinking to swiftly resolve problems. Ability to actively make decisions that positively impact the Functional Group’s long-term goals. Excellent written and oral communication skills Microsoft Office proficiency Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Desired Master’s Degree in a related field Project Management Professional Certification, or equivalent Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in a leadership position. Pay Range There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
