Senior Business Analyst - Broker Dealer

As a Senior Specialist Business Analyst reporting to Product Manager (Broker Dealer), you'll play a critical role in translating complex regulatory requirements into clear functional specifications, shaping product improvements, and supporting clients with domain expertise. The role requires strong analytical depth, hands-on involvement, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities * Analyze global broker‑dealer regulatory changes, interpret regulatory texts, and translate them into structured functional requirements. * Create high‑quality functional specifications, including data models, field‑level definitions, reporting logic, validations, and exception handling. * Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and support QA in defining test scenarios and validating delivered functionality. * Identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases in regulations, proposing clear and practical solutions. * Act as a subject matter expert in regulatory reporting, participate in backlog/sprint activities, and support client queries and issue resolution with a structured, solution‑oriented approach. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. * Previous experience in a RegTech environment or financial services technology. * Strong understanding of broker‑dealer regulatory reporting frameworks. * Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex regulatory concepts into structured logic. * Clear and effective communicator with experience working in collaborative, matrixed teams. Preferred Qualifications * Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred, but not required. * Experience in capital markets, FinTech, or other highly regulated industries. * Comfortable collaborating with global teams and navigating cross‑border cultural nuances.
