Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Starling Physicians is seeking Physician Assistant to support the physicians of our Orthopedic practice.

Description:

• Monday through Friday.
• Provide orthopedic care in both clinical and surgical settings
• First and/or Second Assist in the Operating Room.
• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, physical exams, diagnostic assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provides pre-and post-operative care and patient education to patients.
• Enters, reviews and updates orders.
• Perform joint injections, aspirations, and other in-office orthopedic procedures.
• Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions, recovery, and treatment options.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, labs) to support accurate diagnoses.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
• Active CT PA license
• CT Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
