Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Albany, NY as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will perform CT procedures, assist in clinical evaluation and patient care in a Level I Trauma and academic medical center environment. Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, administering contrast per physician orders, supporting trauma and emergency room imaging, performing inpatient and outpatient exams, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and adhering to New York State radiation safety requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School or equivalent (high school +1).
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or possession of a limited permit to practice in New York State.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiography.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Ability to perform CT exams for trauma, emergency, inpatient (including ICU), outpatient, research, and CT-guided procedures.
• Familiarity with New York State Department of Health radiation safety code Part 16.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a Level I Trauma center or academic medical center preferred.
• Prior experience with a broad range of CT procedures, including contrast administration and interventional CT assistance, preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 20:30-07:00.
• Night shift assignment at a hospital in Albany, NY.
