SavATree is seeking a to join its General Tree Care Team, focusing on pruning, removals, and cabling. This role involves applying expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to maintain client landscapes, with additional leadership responsibilities for guiding a team.

What You'll Do
- Perform high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling.
- Climb trees safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other tree care equipment effectively.
- Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety practices.
- Ensure proper pruning cuts to preserve tree health and structure.
- Assist in safe tree removals, utilizing ropes and spikes as needed.
- Identify hazards and conduct thorough safety checks on every job.
- Perform aerial rescues and maintain strong communication with team and clients.
What We're Looking For
- Valid U.S. driver's license (CDL preferred).
- Proficiency in proper pruning techniques for large shade trees and ornamentals.
- Strong knowledge of various tree and shrub species.
- Comfortable climbing without spurs and performing aerial work in diverse conditions.
- Skilled in adhering to ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety guidelines.
- Experienced in operating chainsaws, aerial lifts, and essential tree care equipment.
- Ability to perform aerial rescues and apply various climbing techniques.
- Experience with safe tree removal methods, including ropes and spikes.
- Physical ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and work outdoors.
