What We Look For In a Back Waiter Friendly, hardworking, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service Problem solvers that can handle customer matters with courtesy, dignity, and respect Great verbal and written communication skills Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed What You Will Do As a Back Waiter Carry the order in hand or on a tray to the table and serve the plates for the customer at the table Assist chefs with expediting orders, including assembly, garnishing, and inspecting the delicious food dishes for quality and visual appeal of the plate Read the food ticket, pick up plates, and organize them in hand or on a tray for delivery to the tables Remove dirty plates, glasses, and utensils from other tables and deliver them to the dishwashing station Notify the expediter of other tables ready to be served Replenish the stations with product and supplies including hot water, brewed coffee beans, tea, milk, utensils, plates, bread, butter, jellies, other garnishes, and condiments Break down and clean work area, store perishable product, clean equipment and supplies, and restock to end of day par levels About Us Since 1963, Clyde's Restaurant Group has been a leader in the DMV restaurant scene, known for exceptional guest service and fostering a positive culture for employees.
