EMT- Mobile Health Unit - PRN

Description

Are you passionate about delivering care where it's needed most? Baton Rouge General is looking for a dedicated EMT to join our Mobile Unit - a unique team that travels into communities to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare and emergency response.

What You'll Do:
As part of our mobile healthcare team, you'll be on the frontlines, delivering critical medical services and support directly to patients in neighborhoods, underserved areas, and at community events. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing basic emergency medical care and transportation in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Assisting with health screenings, patient assessments, and care coordination in the field.
  • Ensuring the mobile unit is clean, stocked, and ready for deployment.
  • Supporting public health initiatives and community outreach.
What We're Looking For:
  • Current Louisiana EMT certification (EMT-Basic or higher).
  • CPR certification (BLS required).
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to community health and safety.
