Job Title: Rework Operator

Pay: 24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Description: Salem, NH manufacturing company has an immediate first shift opening for a rework operator experienced and certified with SMT and THT rework.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rework Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and reworking printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of electronic components, soldering techniques, and mechanical assembly processes.

Duties

Extensive experience with the removal and replacement of surface mount fine pitch components
Experience with soldering on heavy copper printed circuit boards

Requirements

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Basic computer skills required
Must be able to interpret engineering change orders to perform modifications
Ability to work with a microscope
Familiar with IPC A-610 and IPC-7711, Certifications a plus
Experience with metcal soldering preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
